Turning Organic Visibility Into Measurable Revenue

For an e-commerce business, rankings and traffic are important, but they do not tell the whole story. For MYVI Stores, Green Mind Agency built an SEO strategy around a more commercially meaningful objective: connecting organic search performance directly to purchases and revenue.

Our work combined SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) with e-commerce measurement. This allowed us to evaluate performance beyond clicks and rankings and understand whether organic visibility was actually contributing to sales.

For MYVI, successful SEO wasn’t simply about ranking higher. It was about turning organic visibility into measurable revenue.

    The Challenge: Moving Beyond Traffic

E-commerce SEO has a different definition of success from a traditional informational website. A website can gain rankings, impressions and organic sessions without necessarily generating meaningful commercial results.

For MYVI Stores, we wanted to connect the complete customer journey from search discovery to transaction. This meant looking beyond traditional SEO metrics and understanding which pages, queries and content were contributing to product discovery and, ultimately, purchases.

    Our measurement journey became:

Visibility → Organic Traffic → Product Discovery → Purchases → Revenue

This gave us a much clearer picture of the actual business impact behind MYVI’s organic growth.

Building SEO Around Commercial Search Intent

Not every keyword carries the same value for an e-commerce business. A high-volume informational keyword may generate significant traffic while a smaller, highly relevant commercial query can bring users much closer to making a purchase.

Our keyword strategy therefore considered search volume alongside intent, product relevance, competition, existing visibility and commercial potential.

We mapped search opportunities against MYVI’s products, categories and content to determine the most relevant destination for each search intent. Depending on the opportunity, this could mean strengthening a product page, optimizing a category, improving existing content or developing new informational content.

The objective was not simply to attract more visitors. It was to attract more relevant visitors with a stronger connection to MYVI’s products.

E-Commerce SEO Built Around the Purchase Journey

Product and category pages sit much closer to conversion than traditional informational pages, so they required a dedicated optimization approach.

Our work covered key areas including:

    • Product and category keyword targeting
    • Page titles and meta descriptions
    • Heading and content structure
    • Product information and search context
    • Internal linking
    • Technical indexability
    • Structured information
    • Content opportunities
    • Search intent alignment
    • Conversion journey considerations

Rather than optimizing pages solely for search engines, we considered how each page could help users understand the product and move naturally toward a purchasing decision.

This created a stronger connection between SEO performance and e-commerce performance.

    Content That Supports Product Discovery

Not every customer begins their journey by searching for a specific MYVI product. Some users begin with a question, need, product category or topic before they know exactly what they want.

Content therefore played an important role in capturing users earlier in the buying journey.

We developed and optimized content around relevant search demand while creating contextual relationships between informational topics and MYVI’s commercial pages. Internal linking helped users move naturally from education and discovery toward relevant products and categories.

Instead of treating blog traffic as an isolated KPI, content became part of a broader journey:

Question → Research → Product Discovery → Consideration → Purchase

AEO: Preparing MYVI for Answer-Based Search

Search behaviour is becoming increasingly conversational. Users now ask complete questions rather than relying exclusively on short keyword combinations.

Through Answer Engine Optimization, we worked on making MYVI’s information easier for search and answer engines to understand, extract and present.

This included clearer question-and-answer structures, stronger heading hierarchy, concise explanations, relevant FAQs, improved contextual relationships and better connections between informational content and products.

AEO was not treated as a replacement for SEO. It became an additional layer designed to make MYVI’s content more accessible as search evolves from traditional result pages toward direct answers.

GEO: Expanding Visibility Into AI Search

Product discovery is also moving beyond traditional search engines. Consumers increasingly use generative AI platforms to research topics, understand products, compare options and ask for recommendations.

Our Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) approach focused on strengthening how clearly MYVI, its products, categories and relevant topics are connected across the website.

Strong entity relationships, logical site architecture, useful content, structured information, internal linking and consistent brand context all contribute to making a website easier for generative systems to understand.

Rather than treating GEO as an isolated tactic, we incorporated it into MYVI’s broader organic search strategy.

SEO builds discoverability. AEO strengthens answers. GEO strengthens understanding across generative search.

MYVI Stores - Case Study (1)

    Connecting SEO Directly to Purchases

This became one of the most important elements of the MYVI project.

Traditional SEO reporting often ends with impressions, rankings, clicks and organic sessions. For an e-commerce business, we wanted the measurement journey to continue until the actual transaction.

We therefore connected organic acquisition with e-commerce purchase data, allowing performance to be assessed across the complete funnel:

    Impressions → Clicks → Sessions → Product Interaction → Purchases → Revenue

This meant that a ranking improvement was no longer viewed in isolation. We could evaluate whether the traffic generated through organic search was contributing to real customer purchases.

    Measuring Real SEO ROAS

Paid media is routinely evaluated through Return on Ad Spend, while SEO is often reported through rankings and traffic alone. For MYVI, we wanted organic search to have greater commercial accountability.

By connecting organic revenue with the investment made in SEO, we could evaluate an effective SEO ROAS and understand the commercial return generated by the channel.

This created a stronger performance framework where rankings, impressions and traffic remained valuable indicators, but purchases and revenue became the ultimate measures of commercial impact.

Instead of asking only, “Did organic traffic increase?” we could ask, “How much revenue did organic search generate?”

    Technical SEO Supporting E-Commerce Growth

A strong content strategy still depends on a technically healthy website. E-commerce platforms can become increasingly complex as products, categories, filters and content expand.

Our technical SEO work supported crawling, indexing, canonicalization, internal linking, metadata, structured data, page performance, product discoverability and the management of potentially overlapping URLs.

Technical SEO was therefore treated as an ongoing foundation rather than a one-time audit. As MYVI’s website and product offering evolved, the organic structure needed to evolve with it.

SEO, AEO & GEO Working Together

We did not approach SEO, AEO and GEO as three disconnected services. Each one addresses a different part of how modern users discover information and products.

    ApproachRole
SEOBuild visibility and qualified organic traffic through traditional search
AEOStructure information for conversational searches and direct answers
GEOStrengthen brand, product and topical understanding across generative search
E-Commerce AnalyticsConnect organic visibility with purchases, revenue and commercial return

Together, these disciplines created a search strategy focused not only on being discovered, but on turning that discovery into measurable business performance.

From Search Performance to Business Performance

The MYVI Stores project demonstrates how e-commerce SEO can move beyond traditional visibility metrics.

Green Mind Agency connected SEO, AEO and GEO with e-commerce analytics, giving MYVI a clearer view of how organic search contributed to its wider commercial performance.

Instead of separating SEO from the rest of the customer journey, we followed performance from search visibility through to actual transactions.

The result was a more meaningful way to evaluate organic growth:

Better Visibility → Qualified Traffic → Product Discovery → Purchases → Revenue

For MYVI Stores, the goal was never traffic for the sake of traffic. The goal was to build an organic channel capable of contributing to real, measurable e-commerce growth.

    FAQs

Green Mind Agency worked across SEO, AEO, GEO, e-commerce SEO, technical optimization, content and performance measurement. The strategy connected organic visibility with MYVI’s products and actual e-commerce performance.

Performance was measured through both search and commercial KPIs. Rankings, impressions, clicks and organic users were analyzed alongside purchases and organic revenue to provide a more complete view of SEO performance.

SEO ROAS compares revenue attributed to organic search with the investment made in SEO. It provides an additional commercial measurement alongside traditional SEO metrics such as rankings, clicks and traffic.

Search discovery is expanding beyond traditional Google results. AEO helps content perform within question-and-answer environments, while GEO strengthens how brands, products and topics can be understood within generative and AI-powered search experiences.
